Lister Win The British GT Title – Again – and follow up with victory in first ever night race

A second at Brands Hatch in the penultimate round of the championship was enough to give Mike Jordan and David Warnock the British GT Championship in their Lister Storm. Needing to finish 4th or better to win the championship with a round to spare the pair ran a steady race to finish behind the Viper of Tim Harvey and Rob Wilson.

The final race of the season was the championships first ever night race, at Silverstone. Jordan and Warnock managed an impressive win from second on the grid, holding off the challenge of both TVR and Vipers.

Pole sitter at Silverstone was the very impressive Stealth Driven by Nigel Greensall and Mark Pashley. Greensall set a new GT lap record whilst leading in the early stages of the race, an unfortunate pit-stop strategy decision robbed the new team of their maiden win.
